What's This Letter reads an official document you upload and explains what it is: who sent it, what it asks, what deadline it carries, with key passages quoted and translated. Reference pages describe common notice types with facts checked against official sources on the date shown.

It is not legal, tax or financial advice. It does not assess whether a claim against you is correct, does not calculate what you owe, and does not recommend a course of action. Procedural options are described as mechanisms that exist, not as recommendations. For advice, consult a professional licensed in the relevant country.

Accuracy: the engine quotes your document verbatim and drops anything it cannot verify against it, but automated reading can still make mistakes — check decisive facts against the letter itself before acting. Deadlines shown on reference pages are the general rule for that notice type; your letter's own printed date always wins.

The free tier is limited per visitor and per day. A pass is personal, tied to its link, valid for the period shown at purchase, and non-transferable. If a paid read fails, the read is returned to your pass automatically. If something is wrong with a purchase, write to the address in the footer — unused passes are refunded without argument.
